Students at the San Antonio campus of the Baptist School of Health Professions may contact the Financial Aid Office for information about scholarships, loan programs and other sources of financial assistance that may be available.
Veterans Administration Benefits
San Antonio Students may be eligible for educational benefits offered through the Veterans Administration (VA) are available to those eligible under one of the following:
- VEAP (Chapter 32)
- Non-Contributory VEAP (Section 903)
- Montgomery GI Bill - Active Duty Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 30)
- Montgomery GI Bill - Selective Reserve Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 106)
Education benefits offered through the Veterans Administration are available to students in the following programs:
- Radiologic Technology
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Associate of Applied Science in Nursing
- Surgical Technology
- Surgical Technology Accelerated Alternate Delivery
- Perioperative Nursing
- Vocational Nursing
- Phlebotomy
- Nurse Aide
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Official transcripts from all previous educational programs are required prior to the student’s VA Certification of Enrollment Form being signed by a designated School Official [Veterans Administration Regulation 14254 (C) (4)]. The veteran will provide the School with a Veterans Administration form 1990. The School will complete the Certification of Enrollment Form after the first class day provided that all official transcripts from all previous educational programs have been received. The Certification of Enrollment Form will be signed by the School Official no sooner than the student’s enrollment in the program. The School will notify the VA within 30 days if enrollment has ceased.
The Professional Nursing Program is not currently approved for Veterans Benefits in the state of Arizona.
