If caring is your calling, the Baptist School of Health Professions Nurse Aide Training Competency Evaluation program offers an introduction to the foundations of nursing knowledge and skills used in the delivery of basic patient care and prepares graduates to take the Nurses Aide Certification test administered by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability.
The CNA is a contributing member of the health care team assigned to assist in the delivery of patient care along with other professionals such as nurses, physicians, therapists, technicians, etc.
