If caring is your calling and you are an ARRT Registered Radiologist the Computed Tomography program offers students the opportunity upon successful completion of all coursework to sit for the Registry in CT offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Registered Radiographers with an additional registry in Computed Tomography will work with the following Computed tomography CT scanners; High-speed multi-slice computed tomography CT scanners; Positron emission tomography/computed tomography PET/CT scanners
Medical Imaging Advancement
This program is implemented to meet the demand for highly educated Computed Tomography (CT) technologists. The program is a two-semester on-line didactic course with a clinical practicum experience. Upon completion, the graduate becomes a candidate who will be fully prepared to take the Advanced Certification Registry in CT offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. This program is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission.

❑ Didactic coursework to include sectional anatomy, CT physics, data acquisition, CT procedures and pathology, patient
care, pharmacology, radiation protection and safety , and clinical competencies;
❑ Graduation with employment opportunities in the CT field.

The online platform allows for flexibility of your time. Clinical applications may be completed at any of our clinical affiliates or where you are presently working or located with special learning arrangements.

Admission Requirements
❑ Complete the online application and enrollment
agreement.
❑ Complete a Moodle orientation short course and certify
that the applicant has the required computer access and
capability required of all online course applicants.
❑ Completion of an approved JRCERT Program.
❑ Must be ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist
